IDHP history
The IDHP was launched in 1976 and offered a two-year diploma in Facilitator Styles (or F-Styles). The pioneering diploma course changed many lives, and became a flagship of the humanistic movement in Britain. The IDHP still runs this two-year diploma course, essentially unchanged, and in recent years, also offers a one-year certificate programme and short courses.
The IDHP remains a virtual organisation, with no “head office”. The committee meets at six-weekly intervals to accredit courses and provide support and supervision to course facilitators.
