Self and Peer Assessment
Self and Peer Assessment (SAPA) is a very important aspect of all IDHP courses, and the main tool we use for feedback and accreditation. All participants on most IDHP courses will have an opportunity to evaluate their own learning using SAPA. Using this technique, participants develop skills in self-directed learning and put humanistic principles into action with feedback from peers.
The time-bounded process is facilitated by an experienced or developing practitioner. The actual process and timings depending on what is being assessed or accredited.
SAPA is an opportunity to reflect on your view of your personal progress and learning journey and receive coaching and feedback from the peer group. The group, the facilitator and the person being assessed all learn and gain meaning and insight through this process.
